If you’re a photographer using multiple tools to run your business, you can probably replace them using only Squarespace.

Particularly if you’re already using it to host your website, here’s how you can get the most out of Squarespace and run your whole business for less than $40/month.

At least, here’s how I’d do it:

  • Book photoshoots with Scheduling. I like this for a couple different reasons including paid deposits, calendar integration, built-in CRM, and packages (e.g. a pregnant couple wants to purchase both pregnancy and new-born photos for a discount rate).
  • Use a password-protected page for clients to view/download their own photos. Simply drag your photos into a gallery and password protect your page. It would be helpful to number these if you offer prints. Advanced tip: create a template “Client page” that you can duplicate and personalize for all clients.
  • Use Campaigns for announcements, specials & showcases. This add-on ensures a few things: you can add subscribers to your mailing list, send emails whenever you want, market specials and input products right in your email campaign for quick purchases, and setup automations to build a machine that works for you.

A deeper dive into each…
